The F16 AVEN is the smallest member of KingSong's F-series and the first 16-inch wheel in the range built around the 126 V platform. It pairs a 2220 Wh Samsung 50S battery in four independent packs with a 3500 W hollow-shaft motor (9400 W peak), an 18-MOSFET controller on an aluminum-substrate driver board, and a four-point DNM spring-and-air suspension with 70 mm of frame travel.

The quick-release motor and modular electronics introduced on the F18 are carried over, so tire and service work stays quick. The brief: the power reserve and tuning of a large F-series wheel, in a body 28 cm wide that changes direction the way a 16-inch wheel should.

Performance and ride experience

Range

KingSong quotes about 110 km, measured with a 60 kg rider at a constant 20 km/h on flat ground. For a typical adult riding at normal road speeds, plan on roughly 75–90 km in mixed conditions; trails, cold weather and sustained high speed pull it down.

Power and speed

The 126 V system is about margin more than top speed. A 3500 W rated motor with 2220 Wh behind it keeps the pedals firm on long climbs and hard launches where an 84 V wheel starts to soften. KingSong lists an approximate top riding speed of 80 km/h; the "100+ km/h" figure in the spec sheet is the motor's no-load free-spin, not a riding speed. Speed alarms and pedal tilt-back are adjustable, and the wheel stays limited for the first 5 km.

Suspension

Four DNM units combine coil springs with an air chamber, so sag can be set by rider weight and then fine-tuned with rebound and compression knobs. The 70 mm of travel is tuned for broken pavement, cobbles, gravel and light trail; riders who jump or hit large drops should look at the F18's 100 mm.

Handling

The 16-inch geometry and 3.0-inch tire make it quick to place and settled in corners. At 37.7 kg it is heavy for its size; it rides lighter than it lifts, but stairs and car loading need a plan. The trolley handle and kickstand help around the ride, not during it.

Charging

The included 126 V / 5 A charger fills the pack in about 4–5 hours. With a second compatible 5 A charger on the other port, charging time drops to about 2–3 hours.

Serviceability

The motor releases from the frame in minutes for tire changes, and the control board, display, lights and switch are separate modules. The 3.00-12 tire format has street, hybrid and off-road options.
