Performance and ride experience

The Xeno is not meant to compete in the extreme performance sector, but its 2500 W motor provides plenty of power for thrilling everyday riding. It has been meticulously tuned to feel like a much lighter wheel, staying nimble and agile despite the 20-inch footprint. In our tests with the street tubeless tire it delivered exceptional performance on asphalt, which makes that our recommended setup for city riding. The NOSFET Xeno is one of the rare modern performance wheels that feels designed around ride quality rather than headline numbers. At 33 kg it is still a substantial machine, but for a full-size 20-inch suspension EUC the difference is immediately meaningful: it changes direction quickly, responds cleanly to braking and acceleration, and is far easier to place on technical trails than the current generation of 40-plus-kilogram rivals. The 126 V system and 2200 Wh Samsung 50S battery provide enough performance for fast everyday riding, while the real highlight is the 90 mm RFLOXA suspension. Its tool-free compression and rebound adjustment give the Xeno a supportive, sporty character that works equally well on broken city roads, flowing trails and controlled jumps. I also like the balanced chassis, excellent pedals, useful lighting and the way the 20-inch tyre combines stability with unusually agile handling. The compromises are deliberate but important. This is not the right wheel for maximum range or extreme-speed riding, and its premium price overlaps with heavier machines offering more battery and outright power. The sculpted side panels make conventional power-pad installation unnecessarily difficult, the lightweight trolley handle does not feel as substantial as the rest of the wheel, and the street tyre can require a careful setup and acclimatisation under hard braking. For an experienced rider who values control, suspension quality and manageable weight above excess speed, the Xeno is one of the most convincing all-round EUCs of its generation.
