The V5F was InMotion's smallest wheel for most of the last decade, and it has now been discontinued in favor of the V6, which matters more than any single specification when you are deciding whether to buy one today. What it does well, it still does better than most current entry wheels. At roughly 11.9 kg it is light enough to carry up stairs or slide under a train seat without planning your day around it, and the tall, grippy pedals and slim curved shell make it unusually easy to place precisely at walking pace and through tight turns. The 550 W motor is the defining limitation. There is enough torque for flat urban riding, but the 25 km/h ceiling is set in hardware and sits close enough to a confident rider's natural cruising speed that the reserve left for a hard stop, a pothole, or a long climb is thinner than I would like. Riders much above 80 kg should be looking at something larger. Expect roughly 15 to 25 km in practice rather than the advertised 35, depending on weight and pace, and expect the 14-inch tire to pass more of the road surface through to your feet than a bigger wheel would. Servicing is a real strength: it opens up quickly, outer shells are cheap to replace after learning drops, and the wheel bearings are a standard commodity size. The trolley handle and pedal hinges are what loosen over time. A V6 or KingSong 14D Pro gives you more power reserve and current safety certification; a Begode A1 costs less. Buy this as a light second wheel or an inexpensive, well-built learner, not as a wheel to grow into
