Born from the Need for Better Protection

XION’s story began with two Dutch professionals from the film and TV stunt industry and law enforcement who were searching for a better way to protect themselves without relying on bulky, rigid body armour.

After discovering the potential of D3O® — an innovative material that remains soft and flexible during movement while absorbing and dissipating energy during an impact — they saw an opportunity to rethink traditional protective clothing.

What followed was years of prototyping, testing and refinement, supported by stunt professionals and extreme-sports athletes who needed protection they could actually move in. The result was XION Protective Gear: low-profile protective clothing designed around real-world experience, comfort and freedom of movement.

From its beginnings in professional stunt work, XION has grown into a specialist protective gear brand used by riders, athletes and professionals across demanding disciplines.

XION specializes in high-performance protective clothing designed to provide effective impact protection without compromising mobility or comfort. Its products use advanced D3O® impact technology and are designed to sit close to the body, making them significantly less restrictive than traditional bulky protection.

The XION range includes protective jackets, shirts, shorts, trousers and individual body protection for riders and athletes exposed to the risk of hard impacts.
