NOSFET XENO: A Lighter 20-Inch EUC Built for Real-World Riding

Aug 23, 2026·5 min read

The electric-unicycle market has spent years chasing larger batteries, higher voltages and increasingly heavy performance machines.

NOSFET has taken a slightly different approach with the XENO.

Rather than trying to build the most extreme wheel on the market, the XENO combines a 126V platform, 2200Wh battery and adjustable suspension in a 33 kg package designed around everyday riding.

It is still a serious 20-inch EUC, but its purpose is not simply to win a specification comparison. The focus is on agility, comfort, serviceability and a more manageable ownership experience.

After spending ten days testing the XENO, including riding it with the street-oriented tubeless tyre, we found it to be one of the more interesting alternatives to the increasingly heavy performance wheels in this category.

The Key Specifications

The core XENO platform includes:

  • 126V controller architecture
  • 2200Wh Samsung 50S battery
  • 2500W lightweight motor
  • 33 kg total weight
  • 20-inch wheel
  • 80/90-14 tyre size
  • 90 mm RFLOXA suspension
  • Tool-free compression and rebound adjustment
  • TNT Street, Off-road and Hybrid tyre options
  • Integrated display and AEON-style pedals

At 33 kg, the XENO is not a lightweight wheel in the traditional sense. However, it is lighter and easier to manage than many modern 20-inch performance EUCs with comparable suspension and battery systems. More importantly, its handling makes it feel less intimidating than the specification sheet might suggest.

Designed for Agility Rather Than Excess

The 2500W motor and 126V architecture provide substantial power for urban riding, touring and faster recreational use.

However, the XENO is not positioned as an ultimate high-speed track wheel. Its character is better understood as a premium all-rounder: powerful enough for experienced riders but tuned to remain responsive and relatively easy to control.

The difference is particularly noticeable at lower and medium speeds. The wheel changes direction naturally and does not feel as reluctant to turn as some heavier long-range models.

During our tests, the street tubeless tyre made the XENO feel especially smooth and agile on asphalt. Riders who spend most of their time in cities or on paved roads should strongly consider this configuration.

90 mm RFLOXA Suspension

Suspension is one of the XENO’s strongest features.

The wheel uses a 90 mm RFLOXA bidirectional symmetrical suspension system with separate compression and rebound adjustment. Both settings can be adjusted by hand without tools.

  • Compression damping controls how quickly the suspension compresses under an impact.
  • Rebound damping controls how quickly it returns after compression.

This allows riders to adapt the suspension to their weight, terrain and riding style without disassembling the wheel or carrying special tools.

Correct suspension setup remains essential. Riders should establish the appropriate sag first and then refine the compression and rebound settings. Copying another rider’s settings is rarely ideal because weight, speed and terrain can be very different.

When adjusted correctly, the XENO’s suspension provides a controlled, premium ride over broken asphalt, uneven streets and light off-road terrain.

Three Tyre Configurations

TNT Street

The street-oriented tubeless tyre is the best choice for riders who primarily use asphalt. It provides the smoothest steering response and helps the XENO demonstrate its agile urban character.

TNT Off-road

The off-road option is intended for riders who need additional traction on gravel, dirt and loose terrain. Its aggressive tread may feel different on asphalt and can increase rolling resistance, but it provides greater confidence away from paved roads.

TNT Hybrid

The NOSFET-developed hybrid tyre aims to balance road stability with additional grip on mixed surfaces. It is the logical option for routes combining streets, cycle paths, gravel and occasional trails.

Tyre choice can significantly change how an EUC feels. Buyers should choose based on where they genuinely ride rather than selecting the most aggressive tread by default.

Practical Everyday Details

The XENO includes several features that are easy to overlook on a specification table.

Its two-piece mudguard is designed to direct water away from the wheel and reduce the amount of dirt reaching the controller base. The rear RGB light is visible from multiple angles, while the trolley handle locks into place at the top for easier movement when the rider is not on the wheel.

The integrated display provides quick access to essential information, and the pedals use the same high-quality design found on the NOSFET AEON.

Maintenance and Power-Pad Compatibility

The XENO’s construction makes tyre access and general disassembly relatively straightforward. This matters because tyre replacement is one of the more involved maintenance jobs on many suspension EUCs.

There is, however, an important compatibility consideration. The side-panel design does not accept many conventional flat-backed power pads. Riders who want pads will need a model-specific solution designed around the XENO’s body shape.

The trolley handle also feels lighter than some riders may expect from a premium wheel. Although it performed adequately during our hands-on time, it does not feel as substantial as the rest of the chassis.

Who Is the XENO For?

The NOSFET XENO is best suited to riders who want:

  • A premium 20-inch suspension EUC
  • Strong everyday performance without maximum possible bulk
  • Responsive urban and road handling
  • Adjustable suspension without tools
  • A modern, open-frame design
  • Multiple tyre configurations
  • Easier maintenance than many enclosed high-performance wheels

It is less suitable for buyers whose only priority is the largest possible battery or extreme track-level performance.

The XENO’s strongest argument is balance. It offers serious capability while remaining more manageable, agile and service-friendly than many heavier alternatives.

Final Thoughts

The NOSFET XENO shows that progress does not always require adding more weight.

Its 126V system, 2200Wh Samsung 50S battery and 90 mm adjustable suspension provide the foundations of a capable modern EUC. What makes it interesting is how those components are combined in a 33 kg package designed for regular riding rather than specification-sheet competition.

For riders looking for a premium cruiser with modern suspension, responsive handling and less unnecessary bulk, the XENO deserves serious consideration.
